Trey’s Way is a company inspired by our son’s journey with autism. We combine lived experience with professional expertise in multi-sensory design, social work, and procurement to equip families, schools, and businesses through consulting, training, and design. Guided by the proven framework of the International Snoezelen-MSE Association, every environment we create is built to teach, regulate, and connect.
Bernell is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (MSW ’03) and Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with over two decades of experience in therapeutic foster care, family counseling, and correctional social work. As her family grew, she combined her passion for music with event management, successfully leading and party planning with an entertainment company for 14 years. After stepping away, Bernell discovered DIY and woodworking, dedicating the past eight years to designing and building custom projects. She is also the owner of DIYMOMBYGRACE, where she brings her creativity and expertise to life through innovative design and custom builds. Currently, Bernell is advancing her specialization by pursuing certification in Snoezelen® Multi-Sensory Environments, further enhancing her ability to create spaces that foster mental and emotional well-being, helping individuals and families thrive.
Bernell Holmes
Will Holmes, Jr.
Will is a graduate of Virginia Union University (BS ’01), bringing decades of experience in procurement, strategy, and development. He has held leadership roles for award-winning programs in pharmaceutical corporations and led the establishment of Global Supplier Diversity programs. His earlier experience includes procurement category roles as a Sourcing Manager for Global R&D Lab Supplies and Global IT Services. He previously served on the Board of Directors for both the Diversity Alliance for Science (DA4S) and the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC), organizations that advocate for and connect businesses with essential resources. In addition, Will is the creator of "Where There’s a Will, There’s a Win!™", an initiative that reflects his commitment to innovation, empowerment, and lasting impact.

These footprints symbolize the unique paths each person takes, especially when navigating the challenges of autism and neurodiversity. No two footprints are the same, just as no two journeys are identical. The roofline above them signifies safety and home — a reminder that every child deserves a space where they feel secure, seen, and supported. The gentle waves below reflect the importance of sensory flow, calm, and regulation. At Trey’s Way, we honor each step of progress, however small, and walk alongside families as they design environments tailored to their child’s needs.
